We are two brothers who each have a passion for an area of the coffee roasting process.
Cole
I love everything about coffee. It has always been my dream to open my own coffee shop, a place where people love to spend time. I make most of the decisions about where we're trying to go with each of our roasts. After working in multiple different coffee shops throughout my life, I've learned so much about what makes a great cup.
Luke
Personally, I think coffee tastes bad. I do enjoy the Double Chocolatey Chip Frappuccino from Starbucks, but Cole tells me that isn't real coffee, so I guess that means I just don't like the stuff. BUT... I am an engineer and I find roasting coffee to be fascinating. The process of discovering the perfect roast profile for a particular bean, and honing that profile with our machine is a thrill.
